Invitation | All You Need is Love

I was truly in my element with this Beatles-themed fundraising event. With music (always) playing while working, I adapted fun imagery from Heinz Edelmann's* Yellow Submarine artwork along with iconography from the 60s and 70s .

Since we couldn't produce an album-sized invitation, I went the route of CD (compact disc) size. Opening the three-panel invitation conjured up days of reading liner notes while listening to an album.

I digress...but it's kind of wonderful that contemporary bands have brought back licorice pizza: namely the vinyl album. Better listening and more liner note real estate!
